Charlie reupholstered a 1930s wooden framed library chair. It has a concave back and involved work she hasn’t done before if she was to do it in one piece. She did it, and it’s a lovely job, She helped me choose suitable material for heavy use, kept me in touch with how she was getting on, and finished the work on price and on time. My father who left me the chair ran a soft furnishing workroom and knew good upholstery when he saw it. He’d have been very pleased too. I can’t recommend Charles of LLoyd too highly.

Charlie and her team re-upholstered two armchairs for us and we absolutely love the results! We were unsure about what sort of fabric to go for but Charlie has a huge selection to choose from and she was great at guiding us through the process. Charlie also recommended slightly more generously sized cushions and that has made a huge difference to the comfort of the chairs. Charlie was really friendly, communication was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.
